A Tribute to the Land
At Trus, the roots of Palacios Vinos de Finca were planted. Founded in 1999, the winery began a new chapter under the direction of Javier Palacios, who redefined its purpose: to craft wines that capture the authentic essence of the Ribera del Duero—balanced, pure, and free from excess.
Our vineyards are located in Piñel de Abajo, Pesquera de Duero, and Quintanilla de Arriba. We also collaborate closely with dedicated winegrowers from other key areas within the D.O., such as Moradillo, Roa, Nava, Peñaranda, and Baños de Valdearados.
Trus—an acronym for Tierra (Earth), Roble (Oak), Uva (Grape), and Sol (Sun)—seeks to express each vintage’s climate through wines that evolve gracefully in the bottle, growing in depth and elegance over time.
These are wines of character, born from extreme climates and cool exposures. Carefully timed aging in oak brings balance and refinement, allowing the wine’s message to remain transparent and true. Whether blended to enhance complexity or bottled as a single-vineyard expression, each wine speaks its own distinct language.
Trus wines are, at their core, timeless. They look forward by looking deeply into the soil—preserving typicity through a contemporary lens while honoring the profound identity of the land.
